Joanne Anderson - Profile
After 13 years of practical conveyancing experience at law firms, Anderson Conveyancing was established by the principal, Joanne Anderson. These years of experience served as a basis of learning how to better service buyers and sellers of real estate.
Joanne saw a need for a mobile conveyancing service - available after hours and on weekends. An alternative to the frequent inflexibility of legal firms and offering a flat fee service. Anderson Conveyancing provides the specialised knowledge of a Certified Practising Conveyancer, with personal attention given to you and your matter at all times.
What is a Certified Practising Conveyancer (CPC)?
A CPC is licensed by the Department of Fair Trading and must have completed an approved two year course in conveyancing. As well as this academic qualification, the conveyancer must have had a minimum of two years practical training working in a conveyancing business before being issued with an unrestricted licence.
CPCs must be covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance as a condition of their licence. This insurance provides compensation for you if any mistake or error is made by the conveyancer in your transaction. This is reassurance for you that you are dealing with a professional in their field of law.
The laws relating to conveyancing are constantly changing. A CPC is required to have completed courses of continuing education throughout each and every year of their licence to keep up with these changes. Additionally, constant practical dealings by the conveyancer in no other field of law but conveyancing, provide extensive experience and knowledge to assist you with any issues that may arise in your matter.
As a CPC, Joanne Anderson is a member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers, NSW Division. Anderson Conveyancing looks forward to assisting you in one of the most important transactions you will undertake.
